Reception (Pinakothek der Moderne)

The reception will be on Monday, 23rd July, 2012 and will begin at 7:00 PM at the Pinakothek der Moderne. The reception includes a guided tour through the museum.

Admission is free for all registered participants.

Following the map below the Pinakothek der Moderne can easily be reached within walking distance (10 minutes) from the Universität (conference location).

Concert (lecture hall)

For Tuesday, 24th July, 2012 we have organized a classical music concert provided at least 150 people will sign up for it in the online registration form. This event takes place in the lecture hall at the end of the last talk.

Admission to this concert costs 20 EUR per person and this amount will be collected at the conference desk prior to the concert.

The concert will be given by the Symphonisches Orchester München-Andechs and conducted by Andreas Pascal Heinzmann. The performance contains:

• Erich Wolfgang Korngold: Violinkonzert in D-Dur op. 35
• Extracts from Hector Berlioz: Symphonie fantastique op. 14

with the violin artist Armen Anassian.

More details to be announced during the conference.

Conference dinner (Hofbräuhaus)

The conference dinner will be on Thursday, 26th July, 2012 and will begin at 8:00 PM at the Festsaal of Hofbräuhaus.

Admission is free for all registered participants. However for each additional accompanying person the amount of 60 EUR has to be paid in advance. More details can be found in the online registration form, where you can also specify how many additional persons you wish to bring.

The Hofbräuhaus can be reached within walking distance (6 minutes) from the city center (Marienplatz) following the map below.

Transportation (Universität-Marienplatz)

Subway (U-Bahn): from Universität (conference location) take one of the lines
U3 (direction Fürstenried West) or U6 (direction Klinikum Großhadern),
and exit at the stop 'Marienplatz' (two stations from Universität).
From there take a 6 minutes walk following the map below.
