Coming to München

München may be conveniently reached by plane or train. Directions from the Munich airport (MUC) to the Munich central train station (Hauptbahnhof) are described in the following:

From Munich airport you may either take the S-Bahn, the Lufthansa Airport Bus or a taxi. All rides take approximately 40 minutes.

S-Bahn:

• After arrival proceed to 'ground transportation'
• follow the green signs 'S-Bahn'
• take the S8 or S1 with direction 'Innenstadt (city center)'
• get off at the stop 'Hauptbahnhof (central train station)'.

Lufthansa Airport Bus:

• After arrival proceed to 'ground transportation'
• follow the signs 'Lufthansa Airport Bus'
• ride the bus until its last stop 'Hauptbahnhof (central train station).

Taxi:

• A taxi from the airport to the central train station is approximately 60 EUR.

Shuttle service from Hauptbahnhof to Ringberg Castle

On the first and last day we offer a shuttle service from the central train station (Hauptbahnhof) at München to the castle and backwards.

• The shuttle bus leaves on Sunday, April 28th, 2013 at 5:15 PM from Munich central train station (Hauptbahnhof) towards the castle.
• The shuttle bus leaves on Friday, May 3rd, 2013 at 2:00 PM from the castle towards Munich central train station (Hauptbahnhof). We expect to arrive there by 4:00 PM.

Location of the bus stop:

Once you have arrived at the Hauptbahnhof (central train station) proceed to the bus stop. The bus leaves from the bus terminal at Arnulfstraße. You will face the latter after leaving the main train station building from the end of rail track 26 or from the S-Bahn station 'Hauptbahnhof' following the signs 'Arnulfstraße', cf. the map below.
