    Research interests

  • Perturbative string theory: string amplitudes
  • Gauge and gravity theories from/in string theory: (N)MHV-amplitudes, spinors and twistors
  • Relations between gravitational and gauge amplitudes and possible dual descriptions towards a flat space holography
  • Non-perturbative effects in superstring theory: instanton corrections, string dualities and topological string amplitudes
  • String phenomenology: effective actions, low mass strings and implications for LHC
  • Number theory and arithmetic algebraic geometry: periods, modular forms, multiple Gaussian hypergeometric functions, multiple Euler-Zagier sums, and motivic aspects
