FeynHiggs: overview and old versions
FeynHiggs is a Fortran code for the
diagrammatic calculation of the masses of the masses and mixings of
the Higgs bosons in the MSSM at the two-loop level.
There are several versions:
-
The real and complex case including Higgs decays:
FeynHiggs2.6.1
This version includes all features ever implemented into FeynHiggs:
- complete set of one-loop corrections
- all known two-loop corrections applicable in Feynman-Diagrammatic
approach
- evaluation of the charged Higgs sector
-
evaluation of the theory error of the Higgs masses and mixing angles
due to unknown higher-order corrections
- evaluation of the leading corrections from NMFV models
- evaluation of the Z-factors needed to obtain correct properties
for external (on-shell) Higgs bosons
- evaluation of all relevant mixing matrices
- complete set of Higgs decay branching ratios
- additional couplings: Higgs gauge boson, Higgs self couplings
- the Higgs production cross section at the Tevatron and at the LHC
- transistion from on-shell to DRbar (and vice versa) parameters
- easy link to other Fortran/C++ codes
- easy link within Mathematica
- help via man pages
- SPS benchmark scenarios and Les Houches benchmark scenarios are
given as predifined input
- FH2.2 or higher is able to process
Les Houches Accord data
(see
hep-ph/0408283
by T. Hahn)
- The following check items are evaluated:
- one- and two-loop contributions to
(g-2)mu, see
hep-ph/0312264,
hep-ph/0405255
(by S. Heinemeyer, D. Stöckinger, G. Weiglein) for details.
- one- and two-loop contributions to Delta rho
MW and sin2(thetaeff) incl. NMFV effects
- BR(b -> s gamma) incl. NMFV effects, see
hep-ph/0512315
(by T. Hahn, W. Hollik, J. Illana, S. Penaranda) for details.

-
The main differences are:
-
FeynHiggs2.1 requires LoopTools for the evaluation of the
involved three point functions.
LoopTools can be found
here.
- These two codes are in general less advanced, but have gone through
more checks
For FeynHiggs2.5, 2.4, 2.3, 2.2, 2.1, go
here.
-
This is a thoroughly tested but outdated version including
- all existing (FD) higher-order corrections
- transistion from on-shell to DRbar (and vice versa) parameters
- various benchmark scenarios as possible default input
- evaluation of the leading corrections from NMFV models
For this code, go here.
-
The real case including Higgs decays:
FeynHiggsDecay1.5.1
This is a thoroughly tested version including
- all FeynHiggs1.5.1 features (except the NMFV option)
- all relevant decay channels for the neutral Higgs bosons
For this code, send an email to
Sven Heinemeyer.
Alternative option: use FeynHiggs2.x.
It has all the features of FeynHiggsDecay!
We strongly recommend to use FeynHiggs2.x.
Development and support for FeynHiggs1.x has stopped.
All features available in FeynHiggs1.x are also included in FeynHiggs2.x.
